Thank you for your answer. I have had the PC from new and have had to use the 'reset' operation when windows wasn't working properly, and then this has produced 2GB of files which my 3rd political party malware program suggests I remove in order to speed upwardly the PC.
If I sympathise correctly, the files needed to reset the pc are in a split hidden partition and then would be unaffected by the disc clean upward.

If I delete old wndows 10 installation files in disc clean upward, will I withal be able to exercise a figurer reset for a clean installation of windows should it be necessary? Help in this matter would be much appreciated.

That I don't empathise windows reset should have nothing to with your mill segmentation. If y'all can boot from win 10 your your efi is ok and a win10 Os upgrade started from set up will repair win10, select continue my binder and all my apps.

I didn't call back this was an choice, but according to the Reset info on this page, Restore factory settings (back to Windows 8 or 8.ane) is sometimes an option.

How do y'all call up the windows ..one-time got onto your computer upgrade right. So delete them and upgrade again except from a disk /usb of the build yous know using. Better still if you sticking with win10 practise a make clean install and brand your on win 10 factory reset.
