How To Add Music In Movie Maker Windows 7

The Sountrack editor is used to add and edit background music and voiceover in your projection
On the project toolbar, click on Edit soundtrack to open the soundtrack editor.

Notation: The editor tin can only be opened if the project is not empty (at least 1 clip in the project).

Tips: It is all-time to work with the soundtrack after you've finnished working with the video rails.

Interface

  1. Preview area
  2. Video track: to view the listing of simplified clips
  3. Sound tracks
    • Music track: the track for background music
    • Vocalisation track: the rail for phonation-over, narration, etc.
  4. Cursors
    • Triangle cursor: setting electric current position for audio editing
    • Round cursor: making choice
  5. Soundtrack editor toolbar
    • Back: go back to Projection page
    • Insert music: add music to music runway
    • Voice over: add or record vocalization-over prune to voice rail
    • Effect: consist of adjust volume and fade in/fade out
    • Delay: add filibuster time at the current position of the cursor.
    • Trim: delete the selected audio
    • Clear soundtrack: clear the soundtrack content or audio/music track
    • Undo: undo the latest activeness
    • Play/Terminate: preview Project soundtrack.
    • Zoom-in/Zoom-out: change the timescale displaying the soundtrack.

Adding music

  • Set/elevate the triangle cursor to the position you want to add
  • Press Insert music.
  • Cull between adding a built-in music track or your own file

Calculation vox-over

  • Set/drag the triangle cursor to the position y'all want to add together.
  • Press Voice over.
  • To add a pre-recorded clip:
    • Select Insert voice clip
    • Choose a pre-recorded clips.
  • To tape a vocalization-over:
    • Choose Record vox
    • Select Record to start recording
    • Press Stop to end recording
